Global and Africa stakeholders in the tourism, hospitality and investment sector will converge in Kampala, at the Kololo Independence grounds, to be part of the Utalii Africa Tourism & Investment Expo. 

The two in One expo brings together global and African stakeholders in tourism, hospitality, investment, trade, franchising, innovation, and sustainable development under one roof for three days.

Over the three days, UTALII AFRICA will serve as the ultimate gateway to Africa’s vast tourism potential, showcasing destinations, hospitality brands, eco-tourism, cultural heritage, aviation, travel innovations, and investment-ready projects  to potential investors among others.

The tourism expo, that will be running alongside the Africa Franchise Expo will spotlight Africa’s fast-growing franchising ecosystem, connecting local and international brands with investors, entrepreneurs, and policy makers.

According to Francis Mugoga the Chief Executive officer at UTALII Africa Tourism and Investment Expo, by uniting tourism, investment and franchising, the aim is to create Africa’s most impactful business in the tourism sector.

“We are creating Africa’s most impactful business and destination marketplace by positioning the continent as the world’s next great investment and tourism frontier,” Mugoga said.

Why This Expo Matters

Mugoga added that the expo will provide a platform for the high-level B2B, B2C, B2G & G2G Networking with global investors and decision-makers, promotion of Africa as a unified destination, Investment & Franchise Opportunities across multiple sectors among others.

Other areas that will be showcased at the expo include cultural, Conferences & Deal-Making Platforms among others.

Mugoga revealed this at a recent media launch and also official opening of the countdown to June2026. 

Participants and partners on the expo include governments, private sector players, tourism boards, investors, franchise brands, development partners, and media across.
